Designing for the web was something I discovered a passion for during my high school years, Thanks to social media platforms like MySpace, I started digging into coding to personalize my profile and soon found myself being engrossed by the marvels of seeing the page transform to my desires. During my bachelor’s studies, I took several course to further my understanding of coding and even used online courses like Codecademy to practice.
My work experience with the medical supply company enabled me to manage the re-design project of the company’s website. In addition, I was responsible for the content management and site maintenance. I also had the opportunity to explore the aspect of administering e-commerce websites.
Customed Project:
I collaborated with a team to accomplish the task of re-designing the company’s website and integrate the e-commerce shopping site. I designed the layouts of the product catalog pages. I added the “Downloads” section so that the company’s sales team and clients could have access to product catalogs.
NOTE: The company has re-designed the website, so this layout is no longer active anymore.
Another project at Puerto Rico Hospital Supply was to administer the company’s online shopping cart. This was a new development added in conjunction with the website in order to provide a 24/7 shopping experience and appeal to clients interested in e-commerce.
