Logo Design

I’ve done several logo designs for different projects, both conceptual and actual clients. Logo design is always fun, I like to speak with people about their business and overall ideas. As the conversation flows, I like to take notes of keywords or things that trigger an enthusiastic reaction because that serves as insight for me when it comes to developing a design. I also do a lot of research and like to play with fonts or typography, if needed.

Shout Outs, Blurbs and Rants – College Student Newspaper (NYTT)

During last years in my undergraduate program, I joined the student newspaper group and had the chance to work on a logo for the shout out section. It was a portion of the newspaper that featured comments submitted by the student body to the newspaper team. The messages varied from birthday greetings, advice or words of gratitude among others.

2010 Senior Project – El Coquí Criollo Restaurant

For my undergraduate senior project, we had to choose a business and develop the full concept of it, including advertisement and other promotional aspects aligned with the business. My project was centered on the idea of an authentic Puerto Rican Cuisine restaurant, to which I named “El Coquí Criollo”. This was the logo and stationery design I developed as part of the project.

EMS Housecalls

This was my first freelance logo design for my sister’s employer at that time. It was a company that provided at-home medical services and check-ups for homebound individuals. They were looking for a logo design and some website management, so I developed this logo which I also featured in a brochure design for them.
